Court House

Designed by John C. Cochrane and nicknamed “The Grand Old Lady,” this captivating building, featuring 500,000 hand-kiln bricks, combines the Romanesque Revival and Georgian style architecture to create its charming and dignified aesthetic. The Courthouse was dedicated in 1880 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Maki Ballroom

The Maki Ballroom offers a beautiful, 200-person banquet space with a separate bar & lounge area. The Ballroom also features a grand piano, floor-to-ceiling windows, Romanesque columns, and historic chandeliers that create its elegant ambiance.

Rotunda

This 140-year-old marble rotunda is a grand place for your event entrance, a photoshoot, or whatever else you can think of. Its polished marble stretches three stories high in this one-of-a-kind space.

Bridal Suite

Located on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse, this newly renovated space is perfect to accommodate hair, makeup, touch-ups, waiting periods, and time with your bridesmaids. Original hardwood floors and high ceilings make this a picturesque spot to chill before saying “I Do!”

Court Room

This historic room was constructed as a part of the 1908-09 addition to the Lake County Courthouse. It has a 176-seat gallery, which makes it perfect for wedding ceremonies. This space will be one to remember when you say your vows.

Outside Patio

Newly constructed in 2019, The City of Crown Point re-used all of the commemorative bricks to create this welcoming outdoor space. The patio is great for smaller ceremonies or cocktail hours before the reception.

Assessors Room

This historic room has beautiful hardwood floors and plenty of natural light. With a 60-seat gallery, it's perfect for smaller ceremonies or gatherings.
